Sáo đá trung quốc (White-shouldered Starling)
Mút các lông đuôi trắng, Chim đực có đám lông trắng trên cánh nhìn rất rõ, còn ở chim cái vệt trắng nhỏ và mờ hơn. Chim non: giống chim cái nhưng lúc còn nhỏ thiếu đốm trắng trên cánh; màu ở phía trên đuôi, phao câu và lông bao trên đuôi đồng nhất hơn, bộ lông màu xám thường ngả sang nâu, chót lông đuôi màu xám xỉn hơn. Phía trên cánh sậm màu và viền đuôi sậm màu giúp phân biệt loài này với các loài sáo có màu sắc tương tự.
Male: mostly grey plumage, contrasting black wings (glossed dark green), blackish tail with white border, wholly white upperwing-coverts and scapulars. Has whiter rump and uppertail-coverts, mostly bluish-grey bill, whiter plumage parts occasionally washed salmon-buff. Female: wings almost glossless with smaller white patch, rump and uppertail-coverts duller. Juvenile: similar to female but initially lacks white wing-patch; upperparts, rump and uppertail-coverts more uniform, grey of plumage tinged brown, pale tail-feathers tips duller, bill duller. Bare-part colour, all dark upperwing and pale-bordered dark tail rule out similar starlings.
